An exhibition has been prepared on the first floor of this palace and it consists of two rooms, the Ceremonial Hall and the salon.
The Romantic Palace is located on the third cliff massif. The palace was built by Alois Lexa von Aehrenthal on the site of the original medieval palace in 1836.
At present, the hall is home to a unique set of models of the castles and châteaux located in the Bohemian Paradise.
The Chapel was built in the 1st quarter of the 18th century by Countess Maria Margaret of Wallenstein from the estate of her husband, Franz Joseph, the Count of Wallenstein. The chapel’s current appearance dates from the 19th century, when the castle was owned by Alois Lexa von Aehrenthal.
The first permanent exhibition in Bohemia dedicated to sandstone is has been installed in the area of Valdštejn castle’s medieval vaults.
The area of the former carriage hall in the first courtyard is now used as a venue for seasonal exhibitions.
