Location
The Valdtejn castle is located in the north-east of the Czech Republic, approximately 100 km from Prague, in the tourist region of the Bohemian Paradise.
How to get there...
- by hiking along the tourist trails through the Bohemian Paradise from Turnov, Sedmihorky, Hrubá Skála, Trosky and Kost
- on bike along the marked biking trails
- by train from the following railway stations: Turnov (4.5 km), Turnovměsto (2.5 km), Sedmihorky (3.5 km)
- by car leaving the town of Turnov, take a marked secondary road from the I.35 road Turnov-Jičín, leading to the car park below the castle (700 m)
- in the summer season, you can use the tourist bus services in the Bohemian Paradise
- you can combine the tourist bus with hiking. Bikes can be transported on buses.
